Reiki

After more than 30 years of involvement with energetic therapies, working with Reiki changed my perception of the nature of health and healing. So much so that I now work full-time both as a practitioner and teacher.

I received my 1st and then my 2nd degree attunements from Reiki Master Hjalmar Jonsson. Three years later, during which time I had been working increasingly with Reiki, I trained with him for a further year before gaining my Master's degree.

I have been practising Reiki, first in the Sussex area and since 1999 in Somerset, where I run regular workshops alongside individual treatments.

I like to teach Reiki in a very simple and down to earth style, in small, friendly workshops of not more than four people. I jokingly call this Organic Reiki.

I see Reiki as a part of our every day life, as basic and yet as fantastic as breathing. The beauty of Reiki is its simplicity. I feel that it does not need trappings, nor "bells and whistles" or dogma. Reiki, above all, is a very practical and useful practice. It is limited only by our imagination.
